About Amateur audios

Amateur is the category for home-made audio, meant to be recorded and uploaded by the people who appear in it, with a phone on the nightstand or a cheap microphone on a bookshelf. No studio, no script, no sound engineer. The charm lies in the imperfections: a rustle of sheets, a laugh when the phone slips, a room tone that tells you what kind of space you are in.

Creators choose what to share and how to describe it, and you can follow a pseudonym you like to catch their next upload. The moderation charter only allows audio recorded by the people you hear or by consenting adults, and requires the written consent of every audible voice. Recording anyone without their consent is forbidden; each upload is reviewed and reported content is removed.
